DAFFODIL SUNDAY 2017
The Friends of the Revel C of E Churches will be hosting this year’s 'Daffodil Sunday' at Newnham Paddox, Monks Kirby (CV23 0RA) on Sunday 2nd April from 11am to 4 pm. This family day out is held on the country estate of the Earl & Countess of Denbigh, which they very generously let us use for the event
There will be lots to see and do. The glorious carpets of daffodils can be enjoyed as you take the woodland & lakeside walks in the grounds that were designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown
New this year, see the display of Owls and Falcons and the Coventry Model Boat Club display. There will be hotdogs, locally made ice cream, teas & refreshments. Enjoy music from the Dunchurch Band, the Ocho Rios Steel Band, the Revel School’s Revelation Choir, the Villagers’ Choir, ~ and watch the Jill Bartlett Dancers. See displays of Wood Turning, old tractors, cars and motorcycles, including Mini Clubs. Let the children try the roundabout, the slide, and donkey rides. Have a go at pottery, and visit the many other stalls and exhibitions. All this and much, much more
The proceeds are in aid of the Friends of the Revel Churches who support the six Church of England Churches in the Revel Group.
